Taron Egerton is a Welsh actor and singer. He has received a Golden Globe Award and is nominated for two British Academy Film Awards, a Grammy and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Born in Birkenhead, England, Egerton began acting at the age of 15 and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2012. He was credited as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin in the action comedy. Kingsman: The Secret Service and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. He has also appeared in several biographies, playing military officer Edward Brittain in the TV series Youth Dream, a psychopath in the legendary crime thriller, dance athlete. Famous snowboarders in the sports movie Eddie the Eagle and singer Elton John in the musical Rocketman. , which subsequently earned him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Comedy or Film.
