Tasneem Alsultan is a Saudi-American photographer, artist and lecturer. Reporting primarily to the New York Times and National Geographic, she is particularly known for her work on gender and social issues in Saudi Arabia and the region. She is a member of the Rawiya Middle Eastern Women Photography Group. In 2019, she became a colleague of Catchlight and was elected `` Princess Noura University Excellence Award '' in the Art category. She also received an honorable mention for the Courageous Anja Niedringhaus in the photo papers. In 2020, she co-founded Ruwa Space, a platform that supports visual advertising. and providing education and counseling throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Alsultan was the first Arab woman to become a Canon Ambassador.
