Telma Louise Hopkins is an American actress and singer. Hopkins emerged as a member of pop groups Tony Orlando and Dawn in the 1970s, who had some number one songs. She also appeared on the CBS variety show Tony Orlando and Dawn from 1974 to 1976 with Tony Orlando and Joyce Vincent Wilson. In the late 1970s, Hopkins began working as an actress, playing several roles in various sitcoms, including Isabelle Hammond in Bosom Buddies, Adelaide "Addy" Wilson in Gimme a Break! and Family Affairs as Rachel Baines - Crawford. As a lead actress, Hopkins starred in Getting By from 1993 to 1994. In recent years, Hopkins has been a regular lead actor in Half & Half as Phyllis Thorne, Are We. There Yet? And Short Partners. In the film, Hopkins starred in the 1984 sci-fi film Trancers and its sequel Trancers II and Trancers III and Trancers IV, as well as The Wood and The Love Guru.
