Roy Wayne Farris, known as The Honky Tonk Man, is a retired American professional wrestler. Previously he wrestled for the World Wrestling Tournament and the World Wrestling Federation. He's best known for his debut run with WWF, where he hosted the WWF Intercontinental Championship for a record 64 weeks before losing to The Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam 1988. He's the pro wrestler's cousin. colleague and commentator on Jerry Lawler's shirt color. Farris was introduced to the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2019 Deployment Ceremony
