Midfielder who won the Premier League title with Blackburn Rovers in 1994-1995 and the Football League First Division with Portsmouth in 2002-2003.

Timothy Alan Sherwood is an English professional football coach and former midfielder. As a player he was a midfielder from 1987 to 2005, including captain of the Blackburn Rovers Premier League team in 1995. He also played for Watford, Norwich City, Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Coventry City. He made three appearances for the England national team in 1999. Sherwood started his coaching career at Tottenham Hotspur, moving from first-team assistant coach to coach for five years and then as club manager from December 2013 until he was sacked. Fired in May 2014. He continued his managerial career at Aston Villa in February 2015, taking them to this season's FA Cup final and saving them from relegation from the Premier League, until their dismissal in October 2015. Sherwood was the Football Director for Swindon Town from November 2016 to June 2017
