Timaya, the founder of the famed Nigerian hip-hop trio Dem Mama Soldiers, is also known for his solo albums True Story (2007), Gift and Grace (2008), De Rebirth (2010), and Upgrade (2012). (2012). Among his many achievements are nominations for a Nigeria Music Award, a Nigeria Entertainment Award, and multiple Headies.

Inetimi Timaya Odon, known by her stage name Timaya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is from Odi, in Bayelsa State. He is the founder of DM Records Limited. Her solo career began in 2005 with the release of "Dem Mama", which also appeared on her debut album, True Story, released the following year. His second album Gift and Grace was released in 2008. Timaya considers his music to be "the struggle of life and the search for change", and he tends to "hustle the streets" at age 14. and became internationally popular with her third studio album De Rebirth - released in partnership with Black Body Entertainment - and debut single “Plantain Boy.” Both were commercially successful. And earn her money by collaborating with Dem Mama Soldiers on the LLNP album. In 2012, Timaya released Upgrade, creating hits "Bum Bum", "Sexy Ladies" and "Malonogede".
