Metal musician best known as the vocalist and guitarist of the death metal band Repugnant, as well as the masked lead vocalist of the Swedish heavy metal band Ghost. For years, his identity in Ghost has been suspected, but it wasn't verified until 2017.

Tobias Forge is a Swedish singer, songwriter and composer. He is the manager and lead musician of the masked rock band Ghost, performing live as a singer under the stage names Papa Emeritus and Cardinal Copia. Although the group formed in 2006, Forge's identity as the lead singer of Ghost was not confirmed until 2017, following a lawsuit by former members of the group over a royalty dispute. Before his success, he joined several other groups including Repugnant and Crashdïet under the stage name Mary Goore. For his musical achievements, Forge received the 2019 Platinagitarren Award from STIM, which explains, “With one foot firmly planted on the metal floor, Forge is a composer who transcends genre boundaries. Jan Gradvall, jury member and journalist, said Forge was one of the "most visionary and creative people in the history of Swedish music".
