Travis Rice is an American professional snowboarder. He ranks 13th on Snowboarder's 20 Most Influential Skiers list for the past 20 years. The 38-year-old has appeared in more than 20 skiing films. Rice's biggest famous statement was when he attended the Snowboarder Magazine Superpark competition at Mammoth Mountain and threw a 'mammoth' with a 117-foot jump. He is considered the "Paul Revere" of the free swimming movement in the high mountains. In 2013, Rice was named the best contemporary skier in the world by Red Bull; Rice is also hailed by many writers and publications as one of the greatest skiers of all time.
