Trenton Jamond Richardson is an American returning to the Caudillos de Chihuahua in La Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional. He plays college football for the University of Alabama, is recognized as All-American and is a member of two BCS national championship teams. Considered the top rerunner in the 2012 NFL Draft, Richardson was considered by some to be the best rerun prospect since Adrian Peterson, and was selected third overall by the Cleveland Browns. After moving from the Browns to the Indianapolis Colts in the second season, his production dropped dramatically. Having left the NFL after five seasons, he's sometimes considered one of the biggest draft busts in tournament history. He played for the American Rugby Union's Birmingham Iron in 2019 and led the league with 12 early touches.
