Tyler Paul Myers is a Canadian-born professional Canadian ice hockey guard who currently plays for the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks team. He was drafted by Buffalo Sabers in the first round, 12th final, in the 2008 Draft NHL. At the end of the 2009-10 season, Myers won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top rookie. 6 feet 8 inches tall, he was nicknamed "The Big Easy" or "Big Tex" because he was born in Houston, Texas.
