Vassilis "Billy" Spanoulis is a Greek professional basketball player from Olympiacos in EuroLeague. A 6 foot 4 year old goaltender, he is nicknamed Kill Bill, V-Span and MVP. Spanoulis was named Balkan player of the year in 2009, best European player of the year 2012 and 2013, Vatican player of the year in 2013 and EuroLeague MVP in the same year. He won a record eight times being selected for the All-EuroLeague Nations team. He was also voted EuroLeague's best player of the decade 2010-2020. He is also the EuroLeague's all-time career leader in terms of total points scored. Spanoulis first played professional club basketball with Gymnastikos S. Larissas and had a very successful start to his career. His skills helped him move to Athens and Maroussi, where he won the Greek Basketball Federation's Best Young Player award in 2003.
