She was one of the best volleyball players in the Philippines, winning gold medals with the De La Salle Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines – Indoor Volleyball championships in seasons 74, 75, and 78. In seasons 76 and 77, she was a silver medalist.

Victonara "Ara" Salas Galang is an award-winning Philippine volleyball player. She was UAAP's Season 74 Rookie of the Year and UAAP Season 75's Top Player. She is the former captain of De La Salle University's Lady Spikers team.
