Rosa Vilma Santos-Recto is a Filipino actress, singer and politician. She is known as "Star of All Seasons" for her many roles in different genres of films and holds the titles Grand Slam Queen, Queen of Queen and Reigning Queen at the box office. She was hailed by a foreign critic as the enduring female giant of the Philippine film industry at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, as the first Filipino actress to receive the title. Santos is also a well-known politician, having served as governor of Batangas for three consecutive terms and mayor of Lipa for three consecutive terms. She was elected representative of the lonely county of Lipa, Batangas in 2016. Several political parties urged her to run for the Senate in 2019, but refused to do so.
