Vince Kidd reached the Voice UK Series 1 final. He is currently releasing music under the name Billy Blond. Appearing in the second of four audition shows, Kidd auditioned for “Like a Virgin,” originally by Madonna - with all four coaches choosing him to join their team; from there, Kidd chose Jessie J. During the rounds, Kidd sang Calvin Harris & Rihanna's "We Found Love" against seventeen-year-old Jessica Hammond - and Jessie presented him with the winner. On the second live broadcast, Kidd performed Elvis Presley's "Always on My Mind" - moving on to the next round based on audience vote. On the fourth live broadcast, Kidd performed “My Love Is Your Love” by Whitney Houston - again continuing in the next round based on audience vote. In the semi-finals, Kidd performed "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse - qualifying for the final on behalf of Becky Hill.
