He is currently President and CEO of WWE, the world's largest pro wrestling promotion program. He is also the founder and owner of Alpha Entertainment. McMahon was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and graduated from the University of East Carolina in 1968 with a business degree. He worked for WWE for his father as a commentator and took control of the company in 1982 .; McMahon saw the commercial potential of a monopolizing industry that previously operated as separate kingdoms across the United States. This led to the annual development of WrestleMania becoming the most successful professional wrestling event of all time.
