Vincent Cassel is a French actor. He was first recognized as a struggling young French Jew in Mathieu Kassovitz's La Haine in 1995, for which he received two César nominations. He has been widely recognized by English-speaking audiences for his performances in Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen, as well as Eastern Promises, Black Swan and Jason Bourne. Cassel is also famous for playing the notorious French bank robber Jacques Mesrine in Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Mesrine: Public Enemy Number One. In 2020, he played the role of Enguerrand Serac in the HBO Westworld TV series. During his career, spanning more than three decades, Cassel has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the 2009 César Prize and the 2016 Canadian Screen Award.
