After two seasons with FC Groningen, center defender who won the Scottish Premiership with Celtic FC in 2013-2014. He joined Southampton FC in 2015 and remained there until 2018, when he was sold to Liverpool FC. He was named Man of the Match after helping them win the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final.

Virgil van Dijk is a Dutch professional footballer who plays at center-back for Premier League club Liverpool and captain of the Dutch national team.
