Stuart Alexander Bennett is an English-American actor, professional wrestling commentator, professional wrestler, and former WWE boxer, where he is a black commentator for the under NXT brand. stage name Wade Barrett. Bennett, as Wade Barrett, won NXT's debut season in 2010 and debuted the main lineup on Raw later that year. He became the frontman of The Nexus, a villain made up of the remaining rookies from the first NXT season. He kicked off five PPV events for WWE in 2010 - SummerSlam, Night of Champions, Bragging Rights, Survivor Series, and TLC - three of which had him unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Championship. He formed The Corre, a short-lived group with former Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, in 2011. After their disbandment, he became the five-time Intercontinental Champion.
