Wolfgang William Van Halen is an American musician best known as the former bassist of Van Halen and Tremonti. His parents named him after the classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. At 29, he was Van Halen's youngest member before they disbanded after the October 6, 2020 death of his father, Eddie Van Halen. In November 2020, Van Halen formed a new group called Mammoth WVH.
