Sherwin David "Wood" Harris is an American actor. He played drug lord Avon Barksdale in the HBO crime film The Wire, cocaine cocaine Ace in Paid in Full, and high school football player Julius Campbell in the 2000 film Remember the Titans as Brooke Payne in the BET miniseries The New Edition Story in 2017. From 2016 to 2017, he played the role of Barry Fouray in the VH1 miniseries The Breaks. Most recently, Harris starred as Damon Cross in the Fox Empire series for the final fifth and sixth season.
