Yau-Man Chan is a Malaysian American table tennis player, CTO and a reality TV participant. He finished fourth in the reality TV series Survivor: Fiji. He returned to the show in Survivor: Micronesia, where he was the third contestant to be ousted. He was born in Hong Kong to Chinese parents and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. He resigned from the University of California, Berkeley in June 2013. He was the director of computer services, network services, and telecommunications technology at the College of Chemistry. He is also a championship table tennis player. Chan is also the 2005-2006 North Division Director of the National College Table Tennis Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from MIT and a Masters in Scientific Equipment from UC Santa Barbara in 1977. In a poll on Survivor's official website, Chan was voted the Fiji's Season's Most Favorite Survivor, with a popularity rating of 65.5 percent.
