During his long career, he played for a number of teams, most notably Monaco from 1990 to 1995 and Internazionale from 1996 to 1999. From 1993 until 2002, he was a member of the French national team.

Youri Raffi Djorkaeff is a former French professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or striker. Throughout his club career, he has played for teams in France, Italy, Germany, England and the United States. Internationally, Djorkaeff scored 28 goals in 82 games for France from 1993 to 2002. He won the 1998 FIFA World Cup, Euro 2000 and the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup, competed in Euro 1996 and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He is the son of the former player Jean Djorkaeff. Hanging up his shoes in 2006 and after playing in France, Italy, Germany, the UK and the US, Youri devoted himself to social projects, which ultimately led him to found the Youri Foundation.
