Zack Adam Kassian is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. During his competitive career, he won the Memorial Cup with the Windsor Spitfires in 2010. Choosing 13th overall in the 2009 NHL Draft, he first began his career with the Buffalo Sabers organization. with the Canucks before handing him over to the Canadian Canadiens in 2015. Kassian never played for the Canadians because he was suspended for drug addiction and was delivered to the Oilers a few months later. Internationally, he competed against the Canadian U20 team at the 2011 World Youth Championship and won a silver medal. Rated 6-3, weighing 211 pounds, Kassian plays in the style of a powerful striker and is known to be active and athletic.
