When the K-pop girl group I.O.I was founded on the reality show Produce 101, she rose to prominence alongside the rest of the group. The band had several years of success and released two EPs before disbanding in 2017. She then became a member of the Pristin band.

Zhou Jieqiong, known professionally as Jieqiong or Kyulkyung, is a Chinese actress and singer living in China and Korea and signed with Pledis Entertainment. After placing sixth on the survival show Produce 101, she became a member of girl group I.O.I. She is also a member of Pristin and the Pristin V subgroup. She made her solo debut with the single "Why" on September 6, 2018. As an actress, she is known for her roles in Miss Truth, Legend of Fei, To Be With You and Be My Princess.
