Comedian and musician who acted in the British sitcom, Bottom for over a decade and is also well known for his role in The Young Ones.

Adrian Charles Edmondson is an English comedian, actor, musician and television presenter. He was part of the alternative comedy boom in the early 1980s and played a role in the television series The Young Ones and Bottom, which he wrote alongside his partner Rik Mayall. Edmondson also appeared in The Comic Strip Presents series ... throughout the 1980s and 1990s. For one episode of this series, he created the fake heavy metal band Bad News, and in another he played nihilist replacement Eddie Monsoon, a South African hacked television star. He starred in The Comic Strip's 1985 feature film, The Supergrass. In the 2000s, Edmondson appeared in several TV shows with lead roles such as Jonathan Creek, Holby City, Miss Austen Regrets, starring Hell's Kitchen and the creation of the sitcom Teenage Kicks. Since 2006, Edmondson has increasingly focused on music rather than theater.
