Former NFL wide receiver who was selected to four Pro Bowls and became a sports broadcaster after retirement. He was a member of four NFL teams, with the Minnesota Vikings being his most successful.

Ahmad Rashād is an American sportsman and former professional soccer player. He is the fourth overall selection in the 1972 NFL Draft, by the St. Louis Cardinals. Hired as he left high school as a much sought after man by the Oregon Ducks, he moved into a backward position and was named to the All American Rugby team in 1971 to that position. After being drafted by the Cardinals, Rashād returned to the broadcaster and played for the Cardinals for two seasons. After being traded to Buffalo Bills in 1974, and sidelined in the 1975 season with a knee injury, he signed for the 1976 preseason for the Seattle Seahawks, which handed him over to the Seattle Seahawks.
