Siddig is best known for his roles as Dr. Julian Bashir in the TV series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, former terrorist tycoon Hamri Al-Assad in the sixth season of the 24 series, and Doran Martell in the Game of Thrones franchise. He also appeared in the movies Syriana, Kingdom of Heaven, Hannibal, A Lost Man, Cairo Time and Inescapable.
