Amy Lee Grant is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She started her career in contemporary Christian music before moving into pop music successfully in the 1980s and 1990s. She was dubbed the "Queen of Christian Pop". By 2009, she had sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, won six Grammy Awards and 22 Dove awards from the Gospel Music Association, and had her first Christian album Platinum. She was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006 for her contributions to the entertainment industry. Grant made his debut as a teenager and rose to prominence in Christian music in the 1980s with hits like "Father's Eyes", "El Shaddai" and "Angels". In the mid-1980s, she began to expand her following and quickly became one of the first CCM artists to break into mainstream pop after the hit albums Ungucted and Lead Me On. In 1986, she wrote the first Billboard Hot 100 song when she did a duet with Peter Cetera, "The Next Time I Fall".
