Brett Douglas Pitman is a professional soccer player from Jersey who currently plays as a striker for Premier League club Swindon Town. He has spent most of his career at AFC Bournemouth in two separate stages, scoring a total of 102 goals in 301 games. After starting his career on the island of his hometown, he moved to Bournemouth at the age of 16 and became a regular player in their first team, helping them avoid relegation from the 2009 Football League and promotion for one year. In August 2010 he moved to Bristol City on the Championship side. In November 2012 he was loaned to Bournemouth, until a permanent deal came into effect in January 2013, and helped help them win the Football League championship in 2015. He then signed a contract with Ipswich Town, then Portsmouth two years later.
