Brian David Scalabrine, nicknamed "White Mamba", is a former American professional basketball player who is currently a television analyst for the National Basketball Association's Boston Celtics. He is also a co-host of the "The Starting Line" program, which airs weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET on SiriusXM NBA Radio. Raised in Enumclaw, Washington, Scalabrine attended the University of Southern California after transferring from Highline College. As a member of the USC Trojans men's basketball team, Scalabrine is the top scorer and leader in terms of goals and feedback. He also performed in the middle of the university. The New Jersey Nets selected him for the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft. The Nets were part of the NBA Finals in a row for his first two years, and Scalabrine played four seasons with the team. In 2005, he signed with the Boston Celtics and won the championship with the team in 2008. The Celtics also made it to the 2010 NBA Finals
