Mokgadi Caster Semenya OIB is a South African medium distance runner and winner of the 2016 Olympic gold medal. She won the women's 800 meter gold medal at the 2009 World Championship with a time of 1: 55.45 at World 2016 Summer Olympics and 2017 World Championship with their own personal best newbies 1: 55,16. After Mariya Savinova was disqualified from doping, she also received gold medals at the 2011 World Championships and the 2012 Summer Olympics, all at 800 meters. Semenya is a transgender woman, designated female at birth, with the XY chromosome and naturally high testosterone levels. After her victory at the 2009 world championship, it was announced that she had been sexually tested. She was withdrawn from international competition until July 6, 2010, when the Association of International Athletics Federations allowed her to return.
