Howard Earl Bailey Jr., known by his stage name Chingy, is an American rapper and actor. Chingy grew up in St. Petersburg. Louis, Missouri and began rapping as a teenager. He first filmed with Nelly in the summer of 2002, then became the protector of Ludacris, who signed him with the new label Disturbing Tha Peace. The rapper's summer 2003 debut single, "Right Thurr," put him on the music map as a good rapper specializing in catchy, club-friendly rhythms and lyrics. simplicity is conveyed in a childish style. Chingy's 2003 debut album, Jackpot, sold two million copies, thanks to a push from "Right Thurr". Her second album, Powerballin ', was released in 2004 with mixed reviews, and the 2006 release Hoodstar produced the hit singles "Pullin' Me Back" and "Dem Jeans". In 2007, his third album, Hate It or Love It, was released as Disturbing tha Peace, before his first single "Fly Like Me". A studio album, Success & Failure, was released in 2010 .
