Charles Frank Mangione is an American bugle artist, voice actor, trumpeter and composer. He is a member of the group Art Blakey and co-directs the Jazz Brothers with his brother, Gap. He achieved international success in 1977 with his jazz-pop single "Feels So Good". Mangione has released over 30 albums since 1960

From 1958 to 1963, he studied at the Eastman School of Music. Later, as a trumpet player, he joined Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, following in the footsteps of previous Blakey greats such as Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Dorham, Bill Hardman, and Lee Morgan.
