Kathryn Lee Gifford is an occasional American TV presenter, singer, songwriter, actress and writer. She is best known for 15 years participating in the talk show Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, which she co-hosted with Regis Philbin. She is also known for her 11-year involvement with Hoda Kotb, on the fourth hour of NBC's Today show. She received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations and won her first Daytime Emmy Award in 2010 as part of the Today group. Gifford's first televised role was the singer / supporting actor of Tom Kennedy in the collaborative version of Name That Tune only during the 1977-1978 season. She also appears occasionally during the first three hours of today and is a reporter for NBC News. Kathie Lee married Paul Johnson, a Christian songwriter / choreographer / producer / publisher in 1976. After her divorce in 1982, she married former NFL athlete and player Frank Gifford in 1986.
