Kathryn Lee Gifford is an American television presenter, singer, songwriter, actress and author. She has been known for 15 years to join the Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, which she co-hosted with Regis Philbin. She is also known for her 11-year race against Hoda Kotb, during the fourth hour of NBC's Today show. She received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations and won her first Daytime Emmy award in 2010 in the Today team. Gifford's first television role as Tom Kennedy's lead / supporting vocalist in the Name That Tune version registered only during the 1977-1978 season. She also appears occasionally during Today's first three hours and is a reporter for NBC News. Kathie Lee married Paul Johnson, Christian music composer / choreographer / producer / publisher, in 1976. After her divorce in 1982, she married former NFL athlete and player Frank Gifford in 1986. He died in 2015. Kathie Lee has released studio albums and written books.
