Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, commonly known as Diamond Platnumz, and commonly referred to as "Simba" or "King of Bongo-Flava" is a Tanzanian artist, actor, dancer, philanthropist, and businessman. from bongo flava, Dar es Salaam. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Zoom Extra, Wasafi TV, a Tanzania media and Wasafi Fm, one of the last radio stations in Tanzania. Diamond Platnumz is one of the most popular artists in East and Central Africa. He has had several hit songs and received many awards. He is the first African-American artist to achieve a total of 900 million views on YouTube. In 2013, according to Tanzania's mobile phone companies, he was the best-selling ringtone artist. Diamond is also one of the highest earners in the music industry in the African Great Lakes region. Diamond is co-managed by Sallam Ahmed Sharaff a.k.a. Don Mendez, Hamisi Shaban Taletale and Saidi Hassan Mlinge of Tanzanian music.
