Diane Eve Warren is an American musician, musician, and record producer. She became famous in 1983 and has since written songs for and co-wrote songs with several singers, as well as for several feature films. Warren has written 9 top 10 songs and 32 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In addition, two of the top 13 songs in the 57-year history of the Hot 100 were composed by her. Warren's career began with DeBarge's 1985 hit "Rhythm of the Night". In the late 1980s, she partnered with British music company EMI, where she became the first female musician in Billboard magazine's history to have seven hits, all by different artists, to enter list of singles at the same time, which led Peter Reichardt, President of EMI Music Publishing UK, to call him "the most important musician in the world".
