Edward James Orgeron Jr. is a former American football player and coach. He is the football head coach at Louisiana State University, a position he has held since the middle of the 2016 season. Orgeron previously served as the head coach of football at the University of Mississippi from 2005 to 2007 and the interim head coach at the University of Southern California in 2013. He led LSU Tigers 2019 to the championship. National Championship Qualifier Orgeron plays college football as a defensive midfielder at LSU and Northwestern State University.
