Head football coach on both the college and professional level who led the University of Southern California Trojans to the AP Championship in 2003 and BCS Championship in 2004 and coached the Seattle Seahawks to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. He became only the third coach in NFL history to win both the national championship and the Super Bowl.

Peter Clay Carroll is an American football coach, head coach and executive vice president for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football Federation. He was previously the head coach of USC, where he won six mediocre games and one game at the National BCS. Carroll is one of only three football coaches to have won the Super Bowl and the National College Football Championship. Starting his career as a professional head coach, Carroll achieved negligible success with the New York Jets and New England Patriots, which led to his transition to college football with USC. As the head coach of the Trojans from 2000 to 2009, he revived his wrestling program as the top contender and won the 2005 BCS National Championship, although the title was dropped.
