Elvana Gjata, also known only as Elvana, is an Albanian singer, songwriter, actor, composer and businessman. Born and raised in Tirana, she is known as the "Diva of Albanian Music" and is known for her versatility in music, performance and presentation. It gained popularity in the Albanian-speaking Balkan region after the release of two albums Mamës and Afër dhe Bigo, both influenced by r & b and dance-pop. Its success was bolstered by Piece 3, which was released later, incorporating more pop-rock and folk elements. Gjata has received numerous awards and distinctions, including two Balkan Music Awards, a Festivali i Këngës Award, four Kënga Magjike Awards and a Top Fest Award.
