Francisco Miguel Lindor, nicknamed "Paquito" and "Mr. Smile", is a Puerto Rican professional baseball player for the New York Mets of Major League baseball team. Previously he played for the Cleveland Indians. A right-handed pitcher and a switching batter, Lindor is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. Lindor has beaten more than 300 in his first two major league seasons and offers incredible defense. In 2016, he won his first All-Star award and the Golden Gloves award, becoming the first Puerto Rican athlete to win a Golden Gloves award. He won his first Silver Slugger in 2017. He was second in the US League's Rookie of the Year poll in 2015 and was selected for the All-WBC lineup in 2017. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Lindor started playing baseball at an early age and he moved with his family to Florida at the age of 12.
