Gary Puckett & The Union Gap are an American pop rock group active in the late 1960s. The group was formed by Gary Puckett, Gary 'Mutha' Withem, Dwight Bement, Kerry Chater and Paul Wheatbread, who was later called . The Union Gap, which had the greatest hits with "Woman, Woman", "Young Girl", "Lady Willpower", "Over You", "Don't Give In to Him and" This Girl Is a Woman Now " members dressed in Union Army uniforms worn during the American Civil War Jerry Fuller signed recording contracts with Columbia Records. Finally, the band were not satisfied with the documentary work of him, others write and produce, this which leads them to stop cooperating with Fuller. The group eventually disbanded, and Puckett continued to work solo and collaborate.
