Ginger Renee Zuidgeest was born in California and raised in Michigan, the daughter of an American mother and a Dutch father. In 2014, she married fellow TV newscaster Ben Aaron, and the pair welcomed their first child, Adrian, in 2015. Their son, Miles, was born in 2018.
