Jack Butland is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Crystal Palace and the England national team. Butland started his career with Birmingham City and made his Football League debut in September 2011 on loan at the Cheltenham Town club in League Two. Butland became the first goalkeeper selected at St Andrew's in 2012-13 and transferred to Premier League club Stoke City in January 2013 for £ 3.3million. He was on loan to return to Birmingham and continued to play in every game of the 2012-13 tournament. Butland then spent time on loan at Barnsley before making his Premier League debut in January 2014. He was loaned out with Leeds United and Derby County in 2014 before becoming Stoke's number one in the 2015 season- 16. Butland spent seven seasons at Stoke, twice winning the title of Best Player. He joined Crystal Palace in October 2020
