Jai Stephen Courtney is an Australian American actor. He started his career with minor roles in films and television series before being cast as Charlie in the action film Jack Reacher. He then starred in A Good Day to Die Hard, I, Frankenstein and The Exception. Courtney had a recurring role as Varro in the Spartacus: Blood and Sand television series. He played Eric in the sci-fi action film Divergent, and in 2015 he reprized the role in the sequel, Insurgent. He played Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys, DC Comics' antagonist Captain Boomerang in the 2016 film Suicide Squad, and will reprise his second role in the 2021 sequel The Suicide Squad.
