Jessica Green is an American engineer, ecologist and entrepreneur whose research focuses on microbiology and genome. She is Professors Alec and Kay Keith at the University of Oregon, where she is the founding director of the Center for Built Environment and Biology, and is outside professor at the Santa Fe Institute. Green co-founded Phylagen Inc. in 2015 with Harrison Dillon, founder of Solazyme. Green's two talks at the TED Built Environment Microbiology Conference received more than 1.5 million views.
