He is known as a former member of the American electronic group Major Lazer, alongside Diplo and Walshy Fire. In 2014, he released EP Fresh with Salvatore Ganacci on Universal Music. Jillionaire is said to have created a unique blend of independent dance and house in the big room with music and soca rhythms of the Caribbean. In 2010, he performed at the New Zealand WOMAD Festival. In 2011, he joined the EDM Major Lazer group, alongside Walshy Fire.
