João Filipe Iria Santos Moutinho ComM is a Portuguese footballer playing for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Portuguese national team. Before any central midfielder, he can also play the role of defensive or attacking midfielder and on the flanks. He started his professional career with Sporting, moved to Porto in 2010 and won 12 major trophies between the two clubs combined. Three years later, he was transferred to Monaco for 25 million euros, conquering the Ligue 1 championship in the 2016-17 season; in 2018, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers. Moutinho has represented the Portuguese national team at three European championships, two World Cups and one UEFA Nations League final, winning the 2016 and 2019 championships of each first.
