Joseph Manchin III is an American politician who served as the main US Senator from West Virginia, a seat he has held since 2010. As a Democrat, he is the 34th Governor of the West. Manchin has called himself a "moderately conservative Democrat" and is often considered the most conservative Democrat in the Senate.
