Jonathan Alexander de Guzmán is a Dutch professional footballer who plays in midfield for the Greek club OFI. De Guzmán was born in Canada, but came to the Netherlands after naturalizing the Netherlands in 2008, living in the country since the age of 12. He was four times selected for the Dutch Under-21 team, scored three goals and attended the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. De Guzmán studied through the Feyenoord Academy, made his first team debut in 2005 and made more than 100 appearances for the Rotterdam club. In the summer of 2010, de Guzmán signed a three-year contract with RCD Mallorca on a free transfer. The following summer, it was acquired by Villarreal.
